Welcome to College of Teacher Education, Gaya, the premier and only government institution of B.Ed. training in South Bihar that is directly governed by Bihar Education Department and affiliated to Magadh University, Bodhgaya. The college has always maintained its glorious tradition of imparting quality educational training to its most competent pupil teachers admitted through state level scrutiny.
Keeping in view the need of competent teachers in the state of Bihar and the emerging trends in higher education, we at C.T.E. Gaya are striving hard to provide our pupil teachers with state-of-the-art facilities such as well-equipped library, laboratory, and hostel for boys and girls etc. Our dedicated teachers and the non-teaching staff are leaving no stone unturned to cater to the requirements of students.
Apart from effective academic training, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are organized throughout the year to ensure the all-round development of the pupil teachers. At the same time, we also take particular care to impart value-based educational training making the young pupil teachers aware of their duties and responsibilities towards society, so that they could grow as responsible teacher citizens and contribute their best for the welfare of humanity.
